Use Google analytics to track visitors to your site
STEP 1: Register for Google Analytics https://analytics.google.com/
STEP 2: Once you are logged in to Google Analytics
- Create a new Google Analytics 4 property by clicking on "Admin" at the bottom of the menu on the left side of the screen

- click on "Create Property" at the top of the window that opens

- Select a name for your property (such as "Annuities Genius personal site visitors"), select the time zone, then click "Next"

- Fill in info about your business, then click "Create"


- Next, choose the "Web" option

- last, Enter the URL of your personal website (for example: bamossy.annuitiesgenius.com) and add a Stream name (such as: "Annuities Genius, Bamossy (web stream)" and then click "Create stream"

STEP 3: click the double-rectangle copy icon next to the google tag that pops up in the "Installation instructions" window

STEP 4:
- Log in to Annuities Genius and open the "Website" tab in the "Clients" menu in blue at the top of the screen
- select the "Advanced" tab in the "WEBSITE SETTINGS" drop down menu on the top left side of the screen

STEP 5:
- Paste the HTML meta tag that you copied from the Google site into the "CUSTOM HTML CODE" text box

After 24 hours you should be able to gather analytics about visits to your site
by logging in to https://analytics.google.com/
