Income Rider Calculator – Detailed Report: What are you looking at?

This report provides a comprehensive, side-by-side comparison of annuity products with income riders. It’s designed to help you evaluate how each product performs over time in terms of income generation, benefit base growth, and overall value.

How to Download Your Report

1. Click on the “Download report” button at the bottom of the screen

   (highlighted in your screenshot).

   A pop-up window will appear with two options:

   • Overview Report – Rider comparison & highlights

     → Click Download Overview

   • Detailed Report – Side-by-side comparison (up to 3 riders max)

     → Click Download Comparison

2. Choose the version you need, and the report will download to your device.

📄 Page 1: Annual Income & Total Withdrawals

• Shows each product’s annual lifetime income amount starting at the selected income age.
• Displays the total cumulative income received by age 95.
• Includes both:
  • Guaranteed values – based on contractual guarantees.
  • Hypothetical projections – based on non-guaranteed assumptions (e.g., market performance).

This page helps assess both short-term and long-term income potential.

📊 Page 2: Annual Deferral Chart

• Illustrates how income changes with each additional year of deferral (delaying the start of income).
• Highlights in green the product that provides the highest income for each deferral year.
• Useful for identifying:
  • Products that offer strong immediate income.
  • Products that reward longer deferral periods with higher payouts.

📈 Page 3: Benefit Base & Income Growth

• Provides a year-by-year breakdown of:
  • Benefit base growth – the value used to calculate income.
  • Lifetime income amount – the actual income the client would receive.
• Annual percentage increases are shown in green to highlight growth trends.

This page is ideal for understanding how the income base evolves over time.
